Boarding Requirement

Every student must have the following items before he/she is checked into the hostel.

1. 1 six springs mattress
2. 1 pillow
3. 2 plain white bed sheets and pillow cases
4. 2 blue check bed sheets and pillows cases
5. 1 Locker (provided by the College)
6. 1 Mosquito net
7. Towels, soap can and school bag
8. 2 flats aluminum plates for food. Students should engrave their names on the plates and cutlery.
9. 1 aluminum bowl with cover for soup
10. 1 blanket (grey)
11. 1 night gown
12. 1 torch light and batteries
13. 2 buckets (plastic)
14. Blue rain coat/umbrella
15. 2 brooms
16. Stockings
17. Pad locks
18. Pants
19. Singlets
20. Gallon for water (Litre)

General Rules
  • Fees must be paid before a student is given accommodation.
  • No food of any kind must be brought into the hostel.
  • The College’s cardinal principle is cleanliness. There will be no groundnuts or edibles in the academic area. The dinning will be run in such a way that students may not need any food brought from outside the college.
  • Lateness to any activity attracts punishment.
  • Jogging is compulsory three days in the week. There will be no exception, except on medial grounds.
  • All cars must be parked at the designated areas.
  • No visitor is allowed into the hostels without the permission of the proprietor.
  • No students must bring money into the Hostel.
  • No flamboyant dresses area allowed into the college. Every child should do with the officially approved dresses, no more no less. Any student found with non-official dresses stands a risk of suspension or expulsion. No student is allowed to make additional dresses.
  • All students must be in the classroom for studies as prescribed by the College time table.
  • All laundry must be collected or return on, Wednesday and Saturdays at the prescribed hours, Wednesdays 5pm-6pm; Saturdays 1pm-2pm.
  • Every student must have his/her siesta. Disturbance during siesta is a very serious and punishable offence. • Students should attend to their before returning to the college.
  • The College will not admit more students than it can cope with. Therefore there must be no case of squatting or two students sleeping on the same bed.
  • When the lights are off for bed, all students must be in bed, and in their appropriate night wear.

Health Care
The health of the students is of utmost importance to the College. All students are treated at Maduemezia Clinic. All students must be immunized and have records of medical test before admission. The College organizes lab tests for the students.

Important Warning
  • Any student who brings a GSM into the College will automatically be expelled and the GSM confiscated.
  • Handbags, coloured dresses, bangles, face caps and other items, which are not prescribed, cannot be used in the College. They will be confiscated.

Exit Cards
Exit cards with student’s photographs may permit a student to leave the dormitory for very cogent, reasons approved only by the Proprietor.

Kitchen/Dining
  • The College kitchen is out of bounds to every student except those oh official duty.
  • Every student must have a set of cutlery, knife, spoon, fork, a cup, two flat plates and a soup bowl with cover. Students must engrave their names on their cutlery.
  • Food must be eaten at the stipulated time and in the dining hall

Visitors  (Time: 10am-2pm)
  • The visiting Day is on the last Saturday of the month. It is meant only for the father and of the mother of the student. Any brother or sister who wishes to visit any student must do so kin company of any of the parents.
  • All emergency cases outside the visiting day should be cleared with the Proprietor. The College as a rule does not welcome unnecessary visitors who could distract the students from their goals.
